The Cerberus Corporation

Slogan: We didn’t invent killing. We improved it.™
Agenda: To empower a new level of core competency in the land by utilizing bleeding-edge thought structures, facilitating dynamic infrastructure growth and disintermediating unviable core personages. In other words, take over everything and kill anybody that gets in the way.
Behavior: The typical members of Cerberus are often unfavorably referred to as being drone-like thugs, and this isn’t far from the truth. They seem to lack any real initiative beyond day to day survival, and are frequently described as the “quiet one” that “just keeps to himself and doesn’t talk much.”
When one of them receives an order from their commanders, however, they act upon those orders with single-minded determination. Orders are never questioned, even if those orders are obviously suicidal in nature.
All of this is due to the massive electrical and chemical brainwashing that Cerberus forces each member to undergo. They lose all sense of self, and simply become yet another cog in the great machine of the Cerberus Corporation.
Background: Founded long before the great apocalypse, the Cerberus Corporation originally started off as simply a mercenary organization and black ops group that utilized the façade of a normal business corporation as their operating model. They have disappeared multiple times throughout history, only to reappear later when dastardly plots are discovered. It is thought that the Cerberus Corporation has actually been behind a great many of the events that took place leading up to the apocalypse, but the exact truth of this will probably never be known. One rumor has it that the corporation was even responsible for the apocalypse, but this is considered wild hearsay.
Organization: There are 24 different “Companies” that make up the Cerberus Corporation, each one named with one of the letters from the ancient Greek alphabet. For example, Alpha is the command branch, Xi is the personnel location and termination branch and Psi is in charge of intelligence gathering.
Strike teams almost always operate in groups whose numbers are divisible by 3. The reason behind this is not known, but it might have something to do with the group’s symbol, a silhouette of a three-headed mutant dog. There are nearly 25,000 members of Cerberus operating across Gamma Terra, the exact numbers being known only to Cerberus itself.
Unknown to all but the highest members of Cerberus, the Master of Cerberus (appropriately codenamed Hades) is actually an ancient organic brain installation hidden deep within a bunker somewhere in the ruins of the ancient city of Atlanta, Georgia. Thought to be quite mad now, the brain still follows its original orders of conquer and destroy in an effort to gain new resources for Cerberus.
Conflict: Because of their home base in the ruins of Atlanta, Cerberus frequently becomes involved in conflicts against the Cryptic Alliance known as ASP. Cerberus thinks nothing of utilizing individuals that possess mental mutations, something which ASP is vehemently against. Cerberus also comes into conflict with the Radioactivists, primarily because the Children of the Atom want the radioactive materials that Cerberus possesses (rumor has it that this even includes an undetonated nuclear weapon).
